Manchester United and Arsenal target Marco Reus could still be available this summer despite signing a new contract with Borussia Dortmund this week, according to reports from the Metro.
It was previously revealed that the Germany international had a release clause of £20million in his contract that will be activated this summer, which caused several clubs to moot their interest.
The Red Devils and the Gunners have been heavily linked with Reus in the past few transfer windows, with Real Madrid also keen on his services.
But the winger signed a new deal with Dortmund last week, which was set to end any speculation of a move away from the Westfalenstadion.
However it has been suggested that United manager Louis van Gaal is still desperate to bring the 25-year-old to Old Trafford, and will cough up £50million in order to do so.
Man United spent over £150million in last year’s summer transfer window, and won’t be warded off by Reus’ high price tag.
