The 26-year-old has been linked with a transfer back to the Premier League ever since the previous campaign, but the chances of it happening is looking quite slim.
Bale was believed to be on his way out of the Bernabeu following the sacking of now former manager Rafa Benitez, someone he shares a close relationship with.
However, newly appointed boss Zinedine Zidane has reassured that the Wales international will still be an important member of the squad as he looks to retain his services.
The winger also came out to confirm that he is happy at the moment and is not considering an exit despite interest from a host of clubs.
“Obviously you can never predict what happens in the future but I’m enjoying my football at the moment so I’ll keep going,” he said.
Apart from United, the forward is also being monitoring by rivals Chelsea, but after netting his second hat-trick in four games, the La Liga giants are not likely to let him leave without a fight.
