Manchester United are looking to reinforce their squad in the January window with moves for Everton pair Romelu Lukaku and John Stones, Express reports.
United boss Louis van Gaal has seen his side struggle to perform over the past few months, with their latest setback coming in the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth.
Despite already spending about £250million on new players, Van Gaal could consider another £100million to reinforce both his attack as well as his defence.
Lukaku has been on good form so far this season, netting a goal in his seventh consecutive match during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City this past weekend and is said to be valued at around the £50million region.
Stones has also emerged as another defensive target for Van Gaal as the Dutchman looks for more reinforcements due to the many injury problems in his back line.
The centre-back is also expected to cost around the £50million region after rejecting four offers from current Premier League champions Chelsea during the summer.
