Manchester United are ready to cut their losses on Memphis Depay, with The Mirror stating that the flying winger will be sold this summer.
The Netherlands international moved to Old Trafford before this season following a scintillating campaign for PSV Eindhoven, who won the Eredivisie title in 2014-15.
Depay was expected to play a major role in the Red Devils’ rejuvenation and potential silverware push, but has found himself largely as a substitute.
The young Dutch midfielder has made some mistakes when given a chance and not lived up to the hype surrounding him when he signed for United.
As such, Louis van Gaal’s side are reportedly open to listening to offers for the attacker this summer, who looks set to be sold at a loss.
United are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer, with Depay potentially one of those making way for new faces to arrive at Old Trafford.
