Manchester United could be preparing another move to sign Barcelona star Neymar after a halt in his contract talks, according to reports from the Express.
The 23-year-old emerged as a top transfer target for manager Louis van Gaal during the summer, with speculation that his side tabled an offer of £140million.
It was even said that the forward’s representatives met with the club to discuss the terms of a potential deal, but the Brazilian international eventually ruled out a move.
However, despite claims that Barca were ready to offer him a new deal, it is now believed that the La Liga champions have decided to hold contract talks with the player in January.
He also recently revealed that he is not in a rush to sign a new deal given that his current contract will only come to an end in 2018.
This season, Neymar has so far featured in six league matches, scoring four goals while managing to provide a further one assists.
