Manchester United have joined Liverpool in the race to sign Napoli star Jorginho in the upcoming January window, according to reports from the Express.
The 23-year-old has been on United’s radar since manager Louis van Gaal sent club representatives to Italy to complete a deal for Matteo Darmian.
New Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to be in the market for a few new additions to rebuild the squad despite the team being quite busy during the summer window.
Apart from the two Premier League giants, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen on luring him to France.
All the interested parties could be considering a move in January, but the Serie A outfits are unlikely to let him leave for a cheap fee.
He has made seven appearances so far in all competitions this term, providing two assists and is currently tied down on a contract until 2018.
