Lazio star Felipe Anderson has hit back regarding rumours that Manchester United are targeting him this summer, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Anderson has been heavily linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico, with scouts from all over England closely monitoring the Brazilian.
However, the young attacking midfielder is hoping to stay with the Biancocelesti, pointing to the fact that he only recently extended his Lazio contract.
“My future? All I know is that in the next season I will play for Lazio, I have recently extended my contract for five more season.
“I am focused on my club only. I don’t know anything about other offers, my future is in Rome”.
And it seems that Lazio themselves are unwilling to let their star asset leave, setting his price tag at a massive £72.1million.
The Red Devils will therefore have to turn their attentions away from the 22-year-old, with the likes of Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan and Real Madrid star Karim Benzema also on Louis van Gaal’s attacking wishlist.
Anderson has been brilliant this past season, making 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and supplying 10 assists.
