Manchester City have completed the signing of Leroy Sane ahead of Manchester United, according to reports in The Sun.
The Schalke winger is at the European Championships with Germany, but the young star is reported to have fully completed his move to Manchester City.
The fee is believed to be around £40million and it is likely that the opportunity to work with Pep Guardiola saw the 2014 Premier League champions pip Manchester United, Real Madrid and other European superpowers to the signing of one of the best young players in world football.
Having already signed Ilkay Gundogan this summer, there is a clear sign that Guardiola is going to overhaul the Manchester City squad and he seems keen to pick up players that he faced during his time as Bayern Munich manager.
City have lacked width for the past few seasons and the prospect of Sane playing on the opposite flank to Raheem Sterling is surely an exciting one for the fans.
