Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko considers Chelsea to be the main team standing in their way to retaining the Premier League title, Mirror reports.
The 28-year-old striker along with his team mates will need to be on top form as they will face Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea the next few weeks in their bids for Premier League as well as Champions League glory.
“It will be difficult, but I’m an optimist,” said Dzeko. “As with every season, there are several teams that will battle for the title of champions in England.
“This season Chelsea might be the most serious challenger, but we mustn’t ignore Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, or United, who will certainly be much stronger than last year.
“After all, everyone has got stronger, and everyone wants to be first.”
He recently extended his contract for another four-year despite being linked with a move away from the Etihad during the recent summer window.
