Manchester City star rules out January move

Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has rubbished reports he is set to return to Spain in the January transfer window, as reported by Sky Sports.

Aguero has been in inspired form so far this season notching 13 goals in 13 games for City in all competitions and reports have suggested that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are now keen on signing the Argentinean.

The former Atletico Madrid striker has taken the mantle from Carlos Tevez as the main striker at the Etihad and the interest from Spain will test both the club and the player in terms of ambition.

The 25 year old has reaffirmed his desire to stay with City despite admitting life is very different compared to Spain or his homeland Argentina.

“The truth is that I’m happy,” Aguero told the Daily Mirror.

“The club treats me very well. It’s very calm – it’s different to being in Spain or Argentina.

“The only thing I do is enjoy football, rest, be at home and go out to walk around or eat in peace.”

“You are always improving. English football, for example, being so fast, it allows you to develop your concentration and refine your technique.”
