Manchester United are already looking to the future by making a move to complete a permanent transfer for Radamel Falcao in a deal that is said to be worth £43.5million, Daily Mail reports.
Having completed a £6million loan move from Monaco on transfer deadline day, Louis van Gaal was given an option to sign him on full terms should they decide for a much larger fee.
However, it seems the club are trying to play it same by securing a contract before the end of his spell in order to make sure he remains at Old Trafford the following season.
It is believed that Falcao has already agreed personal terms with the Red Devils, meaning that he will not be able negotiate a pay-rise if he manages to hit top form later in the season.
Once his loan deal ends, Van Gaal can then decided whether he wants the Colombian striker to sign the agreed deal or see him return to the Ligue 1.
