Manchester United and Chelsea target casts doubt over PSG future

Paris St Germain striker Edinson Cavani has refused to commit to the French side after speculation about his future cropped up, as reported by Sky Sports.

Manchester United and Chelsea are both interested in the Uruguayan, who is set to lead the line alongside Liverpool’s Luis Suarez against England at the World Cup this summer.

Real Madrid are also keen on the 27 year old who has played across the front three this season, but often wider to accommodate main man Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has led them to the Ligue 1 title.

Cavani wants to meet with PSG’s chairman at the end of the season to discuss issues he has with the club, and has refused to state that he will stay in the French capital.

“My first season in France has been beautiful, despite all controversies around me,” Cavani said.

“Will I stay at PSG next season? I will surely talk with the chairman, and with the club.

“If I have important things to say, I will do it in-house. I believe we will all do our best for things to go off smoothly.”
