Juventus have put Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez as their priority transfer target this summer, talk SPORT reports.
According to Italian sports publication Tuttosport, the Serie A champions are desperate to purchase another striker after new signing Alvaro Morata sustained a knee injury in his first training session.
Juve have therefore turned to United’s Javier Hernandez as their top target, who is also keen on leaving the Premier League side this summer.
‘Chicarito’ has had enough of playing second-fiddle to first choice strike pairing Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney at Old Trafford, and will leave in search of regular playing time.
Hernandez’s father and agent, Eduardo, expressed the Mexican international’s concerns over the uncertainty he has in regards to his future.
“One day he is nearing one team, the next day another, and it will be like that until the end of the transfer window,” he said.
Juventus are also tracking Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi and Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic as alternatives to Hernandez.
