Manchester United boss cites transfer deadlock

David Moyes

Manchester United boss David Moyes has claimed that the Red Devils may not sign anyone between now and the close of the transfer window, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Moyes is desperate to add some more quality to his title chasing side but the former Everton boss will not be forced into signing anyone and will only fork out the big money if the deal is right.

United fans have been urging the boss to add new faces to his squad and Moyes has been trying to appease that all summer.

Numerous bids have been turned down for Barcelona playmaker Cesc Fabregas and it has all gone quiet since then on the signing front.

Wayne Rooney’s future may still play a big part too but Moyes will not be bullied into spending silly money just because he has it available.

‘There is a possibility we wont sign anyone,” Moyes said

“We have targeted certain quality players so we will see’

‘There is a need for me to sign players. But there’s no pressure.

“If the right players are available then great. If not then we will encourage our own young players.’
