Manchester United boss expresses concern

Manchester United manager David Moyes

Manchester United boss David Moyes has admitted that he is concerned after the Red Devils lost again, this time at home to lowly West Brom.

Another poor display left United fans unhappy and enhanced the pressure on Moyes to succeed with the Red Devils in the bottom half of the Premier League table and eight points off leaders Arsenal.

The former Everton boss has revealed that he knew he would be up against it replacing Sir Alex Ferguson but yesterday’s defeat, coupled with derby misery last weekend, has opened his eyes to a few things.

‘It was a poor result and a poor performance,’ Moyes told the Daily Mail.

‘We never really got going. We had a lot of the ball in the first half but we never made enough chances from it.

“When we did make some form [of chances], we didn’t finish them. They always looked a threat on the break in the first half especially when they got away and even more so in the second half.

‘Yeah I am concerned after today’s but only because we didn’t play well. There are a lot of games to go and I will try and put it right in the games to come.”
