Manchester United are believed to have agreed a £3 million deal to bring Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez to the club, according to The Daily Mail.

The Old Trafford club are going through a slight revamp of their squad after losing the Premier League title to cross-town rivals Manchester City in 2011-12, and are thought to be looking for new young talent.

Henriquez is an 18-year-old forward who plays for Universidad de Chile, and has recently broken into the South American club's first team.

The Red Devils are said to have been monitoring the prospect's progress over the last year, and after seeing him score eight goals in his first 11 senior appearances have made a move to bring him to England.

Henriquez has also starred at age grade level for his country, having shown for Chile under-15's and under-17's.

It is believed that United will now look to try and get a work permit for the starlet, but this may prove tricky as he is yet to represent his nation's full team.
