Manchester United have made an offer for Borussia Dortmund ace Mats Hummels, who is valued at around £30million, according to the Metro.
Hummels has been heavily linked with a move to Man United, with manager Louis van Gaal extremely keen to bring in a centre-back this January.
And with the transfer window now open, it seems that the Red Devils have finally made their move to lure over the Germany international.
Dortmund have been having one of their worst seasons in recent memory, with the club near the bottom of the Bundesliga and their star players extremely frustrated with the situation.
Despite this, BVB are adamant Hummels is not for sale, but if a significant offer comes in, may be powerless to stop a switch.
Premier League rivals Arsenal and La Liga giants Barcelona are monitoring the situation, with both clubs also in the market for a world-class defender.
