Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that both Angel Di Maria and David De Gea will feature against Arsenal despite the pair being deemed a doubt, Daily Star reports.
The Dutch manager also admitted that he will need to change his usual philosophy in order to cope with the club’s current injury crisis as some players must be bought into the squad with very little training time.
He said: “My philosophy is that you have to train at least one week with the team – better two weeks.
“When you see our circumstances then maybe I have to bring players now in the squad, because of the circumstances.”
Although United have a host of injured defenders, Van Gaal has confirmed that star duo Di Maria and De Gea are recovering faster than expected and will very likely face the Gunners this weekend.
He added: “Di Maria has trained normally, I don’t think that’s a question mark. De Gea is good, no problem.”
