Manchester United are considering a bid to lure Antoine Griezmann away from Atletico Madrid, despite the player only completing a move in the summer, according to reports from the Metro.
The 24-year-old is having a standout campaign following his switch from Real Sociedad and was previously a target for manager Louis van Gaal prior to his transfer to the Vicente Calderon.
And it is believed that United are prepared to make a new offer to lure him to Old Trafford in order to reinforce their squad as they close in on a Champions League spot.
The club are currently third in the English Premier League, with only a point separating them from second place Arsenal and rivals Manchester City in fourth.
However, they face competition from Chelsea and Bayern Munich, with the two clubs also keen on adding the France international to their ranks.
Griezmann has been on great scoring form this season, netting 20 goals in 31 appearances, and is said to be worth about £32.5million.
