Manchester United are preparing a massive contract worth £24million to convince Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic to join this summer, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in recent weeks, with the Sweden legend’s contract running out at the end of the campaign.
And ‘Zlatan’ has already admitted that he has no desire to remain in the French capital, even joking that the only way he will stay is if the club replace the Eiffel tower with a statue of himself.
However, the deal may hinge on who is United’s manager next term, as the 34-year-old is much likelier to join if former boss Jose Mourinho replaces under-fire gaffer Louis van Gaal this summer.
Ibrahimovic has made 40 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring 35 goals.
