Manchester United ace Tom Cleverley is set to join Everton on a Bosman deal, according to reports from the Mirror.
Cleverley played for Aston Villa on loan last season, but the England international snubbed a permanent offer from the Midlands club in order to join to Toffees instead.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is a big fan of the 25-year-old, as seen by the Spaniard’s battle to sign him from United last summer.
But as Cleverley runs down the last few days of his contract, the midfielder will finally end all ties with the Red Devils soon.
Cleverley has been in the United youth set-up since 2000, going on to make 55 senior appearances for the Old Trafford club.
After a loan spell at Wigan, Cleverley returned to become an instant hit with the supporters, but during United’s disastrous 2013-2014 campaign under David Moyes, he became one of the scapegoats for the club’s poor performances.
Cleverley played 38 games in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
