Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj has been linked with a possible loan switch to Juventus and Fiorentina, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a decent breakthrough season under David Moyes last term, and was handed the number 11 shirt by Louis van Gaal – previously worn by United legend Ryan Giggs.
But since then United have been on a mega recruitment drive, spending close to £150million on the likes of Ander Herrera, Daley Blind and Angel Di Maria.
Those moves have seen the Belgian international fall down the pecking order at Old Trafford, and both Italian clubs are watching the situation with interest.
Van Gaal would be reluctant to sell Januzaj, but would be open to the idea of a loan move.
The playmaker has previously voiced his unhappiness at not playing enough first team football, and came close to leaving the club around the same time David Moyes was appointed.
He is yet to start a Premier League game this season, and Fiorentina currently consider themselves favourites to complete a deal.
The Viola have a decent relationship with United, having taken Brazilian midfielder Anderson on loan last season – a fact that could well in their advantage.
