Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is set to be sold during the summer when he returns from his loan spell at Real Madrid with the Spanish giants not keen on making the move permanent, Daily Star reports.
The 26-year-old was hoping he can impress Carlo Ancelotti so that the Italian manager can decide to sign him at the end of this season as he is likely to be given very limited playing time under Louis van Gaal.
However, he has failed to secure a regular role at the Bernabeu, making only seven appearances so far this season, scoring three goals.
It is believed that the European champions aren’t keen on keeping him at the club next season, meaning he will likely return to Old Trafford as he awaits a decision on his future.
Despite the fact that Radamel Falcao is yet complete a permanent move to the Red Devils, it is still unlikely that Van Gaal will turn to Hernandez to lead the lines next season.
