Manchester United target rules out summer move

Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has dismissed talk of him leaving the Spanish club this summer, as reported by Sky Sports.

The Spain international has been hailed as one of the unsung heroes on the Atletico side as they continue to battle for both the La Liga title and the Champions League.

Manchester United are expected to make a move for the 22 year old, who has already played 160 games for his boyhood club Atletico.

However Koke is happy to stay with the impressive capital club and has another four years remaining on his current contract.

“I am very happy and I do not think about leaving the club right now,” Koke told Marca.

“I am happy at home, I want to continue here and that is why I have a long contract.

“The rumours in the paper will have no impact on my game. I am young, but I am calm.

“Now is the best moment to enjoy being at Atletico. My future here will be long.”
