Manchester United target Arturo Vidal has been warned he needs to change his attitude by Juventus boss Massimo Allegri, reports the Express.
Vidal was the subject of a summer long transfer chase by Manchester United, but in the end found himself staying with the Italian champions.
The Chilean has seen his performance level dip since, and he was fined and dropped from Allegri’s Juventus squad having been pictured partying at 5am and getting involved in an altercation.
Allegri insisted he was dropped for ‘technical reasons’ but warned the midfielder he needed to change his attitude.
He said: “Vidal’s omission against Roma was a technical choice. He’d played a lot of games and I had Pirlo.
“What happened off the pitch has nothing to do with it, that’s a problem for the club.
“Now, however, he must have a different attitude.”
Vidal’s indiscretions could bring him closer to a January move to United, especially since Juventus have registered their interest in playmaker Juan Mata.
United have valued the Spaniard at £23.5million, and will look to strike a deal that will see them land Vidal with Mata moving in the opposite direction.
