Wolves have landed experienced striker Marcus Bent on loan from Birmingham City.
The 32-year-old frontman has agreed to join the Molineux outfit until January where he will provide competition for the likes of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Kevin Doyle and Steven Fletcher.
Bent had found first-team opportunities limited at St Andrew's following their return to the Premier League and spent time out on loan at Middlesbrough and QPR in the Championship last season.
"Marcus is an experienced striker who has played plenty of Premier League football and scored goals," chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website.
"People still talk about whether we've got enough Premier League experience and Marcus will add to that.
"He's also a different type of striker to what we have in that he's a physical presence.
"We needed someone after the departure of Andy Keogh and Marcus can do a job for us."
