Everton are poised to welcome midfielder Marouane Fellaini back to training following a lengthy injury absence.
Fellaini has been sidelined since damaging his ankle during a Merseyside derby against Liverpool back in February.
The Belgium international missed the last third of the campaign following surgery and was expected to be absent for around six months.
However, manager David Moyes has revealed the 22-year-old is set to join in with pre-season training this week.
He could then be fit for their opening game of the season against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on August 14.
"He should be able to start a match in three weeks or so," Moyes told the club's official website.
