Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has stated his annoyance at Blackburn's 99th minute equaliser on Saturday, as Morten Gamst Pedersen appeared to pass a corner to himself.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni put the ball down for the late Rovers corner, and looked to have faked a quick take, before the attacking midfielder touched the ball to himself and crossed it for the equaliser.

Martnez feels his side have been hard done by, not for the first time this season.

"I think it's scandalous," Martinez told Sky Sports.

"It's all too easy to give a decision against Wigan, there have been so many times. If you watch it 23 times you won't see it clear if he touched it so how can the referee know?

"You would need to be a magician to make that decision. I don't like to talk about referees but we have got a bad decision a few too many times," he stated.

It looks like the Latics have been hard done by, as Yakubu has admitted that he did not touch the ball before Pedersen started to dribble.

"I don't think I touched it but that's football," the Nigerian stated.

The result keeps Wigan and Blackburn in the bottom two, with Steve Kean's men a point ahead of the DW Stadium outfit.
