Hull City's French defender Bernard Mendy has admitted that he will have to leave the KC Stadium if the Tigers are relegated from the Premier League.
The 28-year-old joined City in the summer of 2008 from Bolton Wanderers and is keen to stay put for the sake of both himself and his family.
He told the Hull Daily Mail:"I have one more year on my current deal, but if the team go down, my contract is finished.
"I want to stay here, my family are really happy here and my children go to school here, so everybody is happy.
"I don't want to go anywhere else. I have a clause that says that if we stay up, I have one year left, but if we go down my contract is finished.
"So I have my fingers crossed every day and I believe that we can stay up."
