Milijas happy to commit to Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Nenad Milijas has vowed to remain at Molineux next season, despite a difficult first 12 months in English football.

The 27-year-old is currently preparing for World Cup duty with Serbia, having started just 14 games for Wolves since his arrival from Crvena Zvezda Belgrade last summer.

He told the Express & Star:"I'm really happy here and I'm excited about playing here next season. I really expect to be here – I have three more years on my contract and I can't think why I'd want to leave.

"It would be stupid of me to think of going anywhere else now. If people at the club or the fans have a problem with me, then I'll have to find another club who want me.

"I know there are some clubs abroad who want me, but I'm really happy here and no one such as the gaffer has said 'you need to go'.

"I feel the fans are happy with me being here, every time I see a fan, they say 'see you next season' and that makes me feel good.

"I just need to keep trying harder to improve."
