Internazionale president Massimo Moratti is not concerned at recent reports linking Mario Balotelli with a move to the Premier League.

Speaking at the weekend, Balotelli welcomed stories linking him to both Manchester United and Manchester City.

The 19-year-old striker admitted he was flattered to be interesting the Premier League pair but was happy to stay at Inter should he be handed more starting appearances this season.

Balotelli scored nine goals last season but regularly found himself either out of the starting line-up or first-team squad following a series of run-ins with former coach Jose Mourinho.

However, Moratti hopes the Italy Under-21 striker stays at the San Siro and has played down reports of an imminent move to England.

"I am never angry if someone says that one of my players is great, that they would happily buy them, because it means that they appreciate what we have," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I hope he has the opportunity to do so (play more), because he has great talent."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
