Manchester United look to have been boosted amid speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother is urging her son to make an Old Trafford return, Mirror reports.
The 30-year-old Real Madrid star has been heavily linked with a return to his former club as manager Louis van Gaal hints that a move could still be a possibility.
He is also attracting huge interest from Paris Saint-Germain as they prepare to offer him wages of £250,000-a-week after tax in their bids to lure him to France.
However, his mother, Dolores Aveiro, is said to have told her son that he should go back to United if he ever decides to leave Spain.
She is believed to be worried for the safety of her grandson, Cristiano Junior, in light of the recent terror attacks that have rocked Paris.
This will be seen as a huge boost for the Red Devils given that the Portuguese international shares a very close relationship with his mother and could be persuaded to snub a switch to PSG.
