Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering sacking Jose Mourinho after the Premier League champions lost again on Saturday, The Telegraph report.
The Blues slumped to a 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, with veteran forward Glenn Murray scoring the decisive goal ten minutes from full time.
The loss makes it eight domestic defeats this season for the West London outfit, who look out of the running for the title and face a challenge to claw their way back into the top four.
The report suggests that Abramovich is ready to act and could well give the Portuguese trainer his marching orders after the latest setback.
Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone of late, but surely would not be able to tempt either away from their current clubs until the end of the season.
Mourinho’s men take on Porto in the Champions League in midweek before going to table-toppers Leicester at the weekend.
