Jose Mourinho says he has still to decide where his future lies, despite it now looking certain he will leave Real Madrid.
The “Special One” hinted that he could return to Chelsea following Los Blancos’ elimination from the Champions League on Tuesday, saying he wants to coach somewhere where he is “loved”.
Mourinho is still under contract at the Bernabeu but it appears as though both the club and the manager are ready to part company following what has been a tumultuous three years in the Spanish capital.
However, he has now dismissed claims that he has agreed a deal to move back to Stamford Bridge and says he has still to make a final decision on his future.
“It’s not worth talking about if I go or not, If I go, I will not give explanations,” he said. “I’m working with total professionalism and I still have the same honour and pleasure to work for this club as I did a month or two ago.
“I have not taken the decision yet. First to know will be my wife and my children. Then the president (Florentino Perez) and director general (Jose Angel Sanchez). We will speak about the future after the end of the season. I have a Copa del Rey final and La Liga matches to play.”
