If Jose Mourinho becomes the next Chelsea manager, one of his first tasks will be to persuade Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski to join him, according to the Daily Mail.

Mourinho is a big fan of the Polish striker who helped dump ‘the Special One’s’ Real Madrid out of the Champions League in midweek.

Lewandowski is a wanted man as Manchester United and Bayern Munich have already made contact with Dortmund who may be willing to sell for around £25million.

The Polish international has just one year left on his current deal and is set to leave this summer with Munich currently the favourites to link him up with current team mate Mario Gotze who is already joining the German champions.

Mourinho has reportedly already made contact with the striker’s agent and will hope to get his man ahead of the main rivals to get Chelsea back amongst the best teams in England.
