Fulham boss Mark Hughes has confirmed that Belgium international Moussa Dembele will miss the next three weeks after suffering an ankle injury while on international duty.
The former AZ Alkmaar striker picked up the injury during his country’s game against Russia on Wednesday.
“Unfortunately we’ve lost Moussa Dembele for about three weeks,” Hughes told the club’s official website.
“He went over on his ankle on Wednesday night and it’s the same ankle he injured against Stoke. He’s aggravated that injury and damaged it.”
Dembele has scored three times in 12 Premier League appearances for Fulham, following his summer transfer from AZ Alkmaar.
