Moyes opts to keep loanee Jo

David Moyes has decided to keep Manchester City striker Jo at Everton until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Brazilian had been suspended by the club after he returned to his homeland without Moyes' permission over the festive period.

Jo, who is on a season-long loan at Goodison Park, will return to training on Monday but will play no part in this weekend's match at Arsenal.

"Brazilian Jo will back at the club next week following his suspension," confirmed Moyes.

"He has been fined heavily and he knows the situation. We will look at it more next week.

"I don't think it is a big discussion point. We have dealt with it and should now move on."
