New Real Sociedad manager David Moyes is planning moves for Tottenham forward Roberto Soldado and Manchester United winger Ashley Young, according to the Daily Mirror.
The former Manchester United boss has been inundated with player offers since being appointed manager of the La Liga club last week, but it seems the prospect of offering Soldado the chance to get his career back on track in Spain has proved appealing.
The former Valencia man has struggled to make any sort of impact since his £26million move to Tottenham in the summer of 2013, managing just six Premier League goals – and just two from open play.
Mauricio Pochettino is said to have run out of patience with the Spaniard, and will listen to offers in January as he looks to rebuild the Tottenham attack.
Moyes would look to sign the 29-year-old on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy, whilst he has appealed to his new bosses to consider a permanent move for United winger Ashley young.
The 29-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrival of Louis van Gaal, and may well be open to a challenge in a new country under his former boss.
