The former England under-21 midfielder collapsed on the White Hart Lane pitch in an FA Cup clash between the teams in March, and suffered a cardiac arrest that threatened his life.
However, after being released from hospital and his health improving, Coyle has stated that he hopes Muamba will watch the game at the Reebok Arena.
“My take on it has been if Fabrice is able to come along it would be fantastic, for a number of reasons,” he told The Guardian.
“I think it will give everyone a chance to see how well he has been doing and how far he has come from what happened that night. The fact it is also Tottenham who were the opponents [that night] will give Fabrice the chance to thank all the fans and players involved.
“The Tottenham players, along with ours, their only concern was Fabrice. I’ve got to say it’s not guaranteed. If he is fit and well to come then it is certainly an opportunity,” he concluded.
