Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is a doubt for their trip to Burnley on Saturday, after suffering a shoulder injury in training.
However, fans will be relieved after initial reports suggested there were fears of a dislocation.
The Daily Mail are confirming the news that Mane, who scored a superb solo goal in the 4-3 victory over Arsenal last weekend, was taken to hospital after the Melwood injury, but the news is not as bad as originally feared.
After signing for £30million, the former Southampton man has impressed for the Reds, scoring in their final preseason game against Barcelona at Wembley, as well as in the narrow victory over the Gunners.
And with the news that it’s only a muscular injury, Mane may not miss more than just the Burnley fixture, although fans are still awaiting an update from German boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds were supposed to play at home versus Burnley, but asked to swap the venue due to the final pieces of construction being concluded at Anfield.
