Newcastle United look to continue their efforts to sign Marseille star Florian Thauvin, but may need to include Remy Cabella into the deal, Mirror reports.
The 22-year-old has been tracked by the Magpies over the past few seasons and were given a boost after Marseille president Vincent Labrune is believed to be keen on seeing Cabella move the other way.
He is even said to be interested in the proposed offer as he failed to live up to expectations since his arrival from Montpellier last summer.
The Frenchman is looking to join a club that can offer him regular football in order for him to have a chance of being called up to represent his country at the upcoming European Championships.
Thauvin was being tipped to remain in France for the current campaign, but is now linked with an exit after the club’s manager Marcelo Bielsa left his post following a defeat to Caen due to contract issues.
