Newcastle United are keeping a close eye on Hoffenheim ace Andreas Beck as they consider a summer move, according to reports from the Mirror.
Beck is currently said to be valued at around £1.5million, with the full-back also attracting interest from Napoli.
The 28-year-old has also represented the Germany national team on nine separate occasions and is a regular feature for the Bundesliga club’s XI.
Beck played at least 31 games in each of his last four seasons, and is currently on 26 appearances so far during the course of the current campaign.
The versatile defender is capable of playing on either side of defence, playing as a right-back 15 times while being deployed as a left-back on another 11 occasions so far this season.
He previously played for Stuttgart before completing a move to Hoffenheim for around £2.3million.
Newcastle are currently sitting 12th in the Premier League and with only eight games left to play, the Magpies are already beginning to plan for next season.
