West Brom travel to Newcastle on Sunday hoping to bounce back from their heartbreaking defeat to Manchester City last weekend.

The Baggies have enjoyed a superb start to the Premier League season, however Steve Clarke's side are yet to pick up an away victory, while 11th placed Newcastle have enjoyed just two home victories this season.

Newcastle have made a relatively slow start to the season, sitting in 10th place and without a win in their last three league games, however a victory in the Europa League on Thursday will see them head into the game with confidence.

Newcastle will be without midfielder Cheick Tiote, who begins his three match ban for the red card he picked up in the Tyne-Wear derby last weekend.

West Brom could have defender Billy Jones back, as the right-back has recovered from his knee injury while left-back Jerome Thomas is also expected to make his first appearance this season after recovering from injury.

Captain Chris Brunt and defender Steven Reid are unlikely to feature on Sunday as they are still struggling with hamstring problems.

Prediction: Newcastle 2-2 West Brom
