Newcastle will welcome back a selection of old boys when take on West Ham on Sunday. Kevin Nolan, Andy Carroll and Sam Allardyce are all set to return to Tyneside, with different receptions expected for all three.

The Magpies will be hoping to put one over on all the old faces and in turn leapfrog the Hammers in the table.

Newcastle have been beaten just three times all season, once at Chelsea and twice to Manchester United. They picked up a decent point at Anfield last time out, although the red card picked up by Fabricio Coloccini late in that game means he joins Cheick Tiote on the suspended list for Sunday's game.

Allardyce will take confidence from the fact Newcastle will be without two key players, as he looks to build on a decent point picked up at home to Manchester City last time out. Allardyce may settle for a point this time as well, with his side having won just three of their last 41 Premier League away games.

James Perch is injured and Danny Simpson a doubt, leaving Pardew with a selection headache at the back. But he will be able to call on Jonas Gutierrez, Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa who were all rested for the draw in Bruges in midweek.

West Ham have their own defensive concerns, with James Collins and James Tomkins both facing late fitness tests.

Prediction: Newcastle 2-1 West Ham
