Norwich City have confirmed that Kei Kamara’s loan stay at Carrow Road has come to an end and the striker has returned to the MLS.
The forward arrived on loan from Sporting Kansas City in the January transfer window but managed just one goal in 11 appearances for Norwich.
The club have now confirmed Kamara has returned to his parent club and Sporting Kansas CEO Robb Heineman has revealed the Canaries have declined the option of extending his stay at Carrow Road.
Kamara thanked the Norwich fans for their support during his time in the Premier League via Twitter.
He tweeted: “I want to thank the Norwich City organisation for everything they did for me. Not everyone gets to live their dreams, but they gave me mine.
“Also thank you to all the fans in the UK especially in Norwich, Norfolk for welcoming me with warm arms. Top class people/fans.”
