On-loan Portsmouth midfielder Jamie O'Hara has revealed he risks long-term injury should he play in Saturday's FA Cup Final against Chelsea.
O'Hara, 23, has been diagnosed with two stress fractures in his lower back.
However, despite being told to rest for eight weeks, the on-loan Tottenham midfielder is hoping a pain-killing injection will allow him to play at Wembley.
"I have a big decision to make, I could risk longer-term injury," he said.
"I'm having an injection on Tuesday. If it does settle down I'll be okay to play.
"Spurs can't recall me so it's entirely down to me and (Portsmouth manager) Avram (Grant)."
O'Hara has made 31 appearances in all competitions for the south coast club this season.
