Olympic hero waiting on Manchester United call.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt believes he will be called up to Manchester United’s squad soon, reports the Metro.

The sprinter, who holds 6 Olympic Gold Medals, has cheekily suggested that Jose Mourinho will add Bolt to his United team once the 2016 Rio Olympics is completed. The final day of the summer games is on August 21st:

“I haven’t got the call yet, but I know it’s coming,” said Bolt.

“I think he’s waiting until after the Olympics.”

The Jamaican also praised the decision to appoint Mourinho as the new boss at Old Trafford. The 29-year-old had been outspoken in the past under both David Moyes an dLouis van Gaal, criticising the pair at times during their tricky times as manager.

There has still not been an official announcement over whether United have signed Paul Pogba, but the club have already sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly.

The Red Devils kick off their season on August 7th at Wembley Stadium in the FA Community Shield against Leicester City.
