Chelsea defender Filipe Luis is believed to be considering a return to former club Atletico Madrid after he is said to have grown frustrated at his current role, Metro reports.
The 29-year-old completed his £15.8million move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, but his very limited playing time may force him to rethink his future.
Luis has only made five Premier League starts so far this season after being seen as back-up to first-choice left-back Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Spanish star has been in very consistent form throughout the campaign, forcing Jose Mourinho to continuously pick him over the Brazilian international on multiple occasions.
There has been speculation linking him with a return to Madrid, with suggestions that Luis spoke former teammate Miranda over the possibility of being granted a return to La Liga.
The Spanish giants were hesitant on letting Luis leave during the previous summer window, but despite being offered a new contract, he decided to follow Diego Costa to London.
