Liverpool are set to offload Fabio Borini to Lazio after it is believed that he will not be a part of manager Brendan Rodgers plans for next season, Daily Mail reports.
The 24-year-old has struggled greatly to hold down a regular role this term and may finally agree to an exit in the upcoming window.
He was close to an exit during the previous summer, but rejected moves to both Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland in order to fight for a place in the squad.
After finishing third in the Serie A, Lazio boss, Stefano Pioli, is keen on reinforcing his squad and has named the Italian striker as a possible addition.
The Reds are set to undergo a squad overhaul in the summer, and with a number of new players likely to be brought in, Borini’s future looks under heavy threat.
He has been limited to only three Premier League starts this term, while featuring a further nine times from the bench.
