Paris Saint-Germain join a host of European clubs in the hunt for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling as they are set to triple his wages in order to try and acquire his services before he decides to extend his current deal at Anfield, Metro reports.
The 19-year-old is currently paid £44,000-a-week with a few season left before his contract expires, but like team mate Daniel Sturridge, Brendan Rodgers would want to secure the stay sooner rather than later.
Cash-rich PSG is said to be willing to triple his deal, causing concern for the Reds as they will need to move swiftly a risk losing one of the best young players in the country.
Sterling has already made six starts for his side, scoring on three occasions as well as providing another two assist, with his latest one coming from Liverpool’s recent 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion.
He was bought into the club’s youth set-up from Queens Park Rangers before rising through the ranks to become a vital member of Rodger’s squad.
